Read Time: 2 Minutes
This week I am trying something new! At the beginning of this year, I started a Youtube channel and have decided to include my new videos in this weekly newsletter. Moving forward, all solopreneur playbook newsletters will be a hybrid between my latest Youtube video and a traditional newsletter that gets posted on the blog.
Let me know your thoughts on this as I am trying to find the perfect mix between new engaging video content and a newsletter format that is engaging every week for readers. Feel free to send me an email with any thoughts, questions, or suggestions! Enjoy!
Lesson One: Your 20s are just the beginning. Don't be too hard on yourself if you haven't achieved everything you want by 25. Life is a journey of growth, and your early 20s are a period of learning and experimentation. Embrace failure as a friend, as it's the best way to learn and gain valuable skills. Don't be afraid to try new things and take risks, as failure can lead you closer to success.
Lesson Two: No one is constantly watching you. Often, we fear being judged for our mistakes or choices, but in reality, everyone is occupied with their own lives. So, don't let the fear of judgment hold you back. Take chances and pursue your goals without worrying too much about what others think.
Lesson Three: Invest in yourself. Instead of focusing solely on financial investments, invest in your skills and personal development. Learning new skills and expanding your knowledge will pay off in the long run, both personally and professionally.
Lesson Four: Embrace hard choices. Making difficult decisions in your 20s will build your character and confidence. Don't be afraid to take risks or leave situations that aren't serving your growth. These choices will shape your future path.
Lesson Five: Anything worth doing is hard. Don't shy away from challenges or difficult endeavors. Hard work and perseverance lead to valuable skills and success in the long term.
Lesson Six: Building and maintaining friendships gets harder with age. Take the initiative to find like-minded people and join communities or groups of interest. Building a strong network and support system will benefit you throughout your life.
Lesson Seven: Document your journey. Record your experiences, knowledge, and lessons learned. Sharing your insights can help others and create a valuable network for yourself.
In summary, your 20s are a time of growth and learning. Embrace failure, take risks, and invest in yourself to build valuable skills. Remember, the spotlight is not always on you, so go out and explore without fearing judgment. Making hard choices will shape your character and confidence. Pursue challenges, as anything worthwhile demands effort. Actively seek out and nurture friendships, and document your experiences to share and learn from others.
Action Step This Week: Go out and try something new that scares you. Get out of your comfort zone and expand your boundaries. This could be creating one new piece of video content online where you introduce yourself or reaching out to someone you want to connect with online. The goal this week is to take one action that will move you forward in life!
